Wait until the 20 year mark, then request a pizza pension. Free or half-price pizza for life.

Yeah, coming up with a new name will be the hard part!
particularly trying to think of something that there isn't 5000 of already. Actually, I could go back to the college nic: "Master of the Red Crayon"

congrats on 10000 posts too. Those are some tasty benefits, I wouldn't quit myself. I guess you must already have a million dollars in your retirement account though or else you wouldn't be considering quitting such a sweet deal.

been there for 19 years 9 months. Should I just quit now, or wait til I hit 20 years even?
Haven't needed the extra cash in quite a while; although it's nice to have the extra money and have absolutely no remorse for blowing it any way I want.

How old are you? Oh, and keep the job at least until 20 years.

Update, for what it's worth... retired over the summer at 20 years, 8 days. 2 weeks later, I started working here and there for people who needed favors (so they could go to grad parties, weddings, etc.) But, now that school has started back up (yes, some of you correctly remembered, I'm a teacher) I'm not working there; except if they need something that I'm the "expert" at, such as fixing an oven.
