Should I put a fan in the deep recessed entertainment center....

I have a very large recessed entertainment center that is about 3' Deep x 3' High x 75" Wide.

Sitting in front of this area on a 8" ledge is a 60" Panasonic Plasma TV that takes up ALL of the front space except for about 18" on the right side. In that 18" spot I have a Satellite TV Box, Blu-Ray Player and a Sony Stereo iPod Dock system stacked on top of each other.

So...my question is would it help/hurt to put a small and very quite oscillating fan in the back corner of the recessed entertainment center to move some air because that Plasma TV sure does get hot?

Thanks,

Mitch

it sure wouldn't hurt. you could get a couple quiet 120mm computer fans and run them on 5 volts, they'd basically be inaudible.

i'd definitely do it, too. I think those 5v 120mm fans would run on USB power if your tv has a spare port.
