Should I pay this seller (eBay)? (link added)

Hello,

I recently bid on a Men's Tag Heuer watch on eBay...the first time I looked at the auction it had about 1 minute, it was a spur-of-the-moment call. The guy had 100% feedback, with 180 some comments, 120 from unique users. The problem was...he is from the phillipines and will only accept wire transfer or Western Union, and wont accept paypal or any other services.

I understand I bid and I should have realized he was international seller before I did so....but now it is too late, because I won the auction. But my question is this...does this guy look legit? Is his feedback authentic? How can I tell? Id rather get negative feedback then get ripped off. Thanks.

too late to regret. i wouldn't pay him tho. too risky. just suck up the neg. u cna get it removed for $20. there is a thread about removing neg ebay feedback for a fee.

Yea, well i had one of these but it was stolen. I bought it for ~1300 when it came out. Anyways, I think I might get it just cause he has 100% feedback.

wouldn't it be wierd if this was the exact same watch that u lost? like someone stole it... pawned it to some filipino guy who has since moved to the phillipines... and now it's coming home.

Well he says if not paid in three days it reverts to the second highest bidder.

You could email him and explain that you didn't understand about the payment arraingments.

The second highest bidder was $5.00 less than your bid. Offer to send the $5.00 to make up for your screwup.

Geniuses,

The watch is not 30 years old.. it is at latest from the mid-late 90's. the description there must have been a mess-up. Trust me, i know these watches.

really? where is this thread you speak of?

PLEASE do not bid if you have no intention of buying or not in agreement with my payment terms. If in doubt please don't BID.

You should have read the rules b4 bidding.
