Have a Sony Vaio....3ghz P4 HT, 1g DDR PC3200 RAM, Radeon 9800Pro. Not sure what manufacturer made the card, but there's a sticker on it thats says "R350PRO".

What overclocking program do I need to download and whats a SAFE setting I can use to get a little better performance? Not looking to push this thing to it's limit, just like to kick it up a notch :).

thanks,

Try rage3d tweaker and push your card in increments of 5mhz. I believe you can do 400/350 without problem.

Cool, where can I DL rage3d tweaker ?

Also, 400/350 won't be a problem without extra cooling? What is the OEM clock speed of the card?

Here. 400/350 isn't a very high overcloking so stock cooling should be enough. If you see any kind of artifacts lower clockspeeds.

Cool, I'll try it, looks like the card is set to 378/337.5 right now.

why do you wanna overclock? There is no game out there you cant run with full graphics and a VERY playable fps. Its pointless to overclock

Why would you want to overclock?? Lol, maybe to get more FREE performance?? Overclocking is more of a hobby than anything, and it's self gratification knowing you're getting more performacne than you paid for :)

Unless your having some slowdowns in certain games at high resolutions with AA and AF on full, there is really no reason to overclock the card unless you just want to see what it can do in 3dmark, which by the way, as a game, really sucks. LOL.
