well, you can say that, having already neffed your way to lifer.

i gotta work my way up 😉

Look at your AVG post per day. Plus factor in the fact that a majority of my posts in P&N and OT USED to be helpful and informative.

it's a jump in cache size... and all the specs pertaining to drives. seek times, spindle start times,... true, it's not faster, but oh well.

i gotta work my way up fast 😉

and besides, i prefer to stay out of P&N. however bad the flame wars are in there now, i'd just make it 5x worse.

i dont think there exists on this earth another person as conservative as me. 😛

and i try to make posts in other forums, but i always end up going back to OT.

damn, i got one of the lowest user ratings... 😀

A. Why are you complaining about your rating? Look at mine. (I gave you a ten, btw.)

B. Why are you complaining? I still have a 15GB hard drive, and it's ALL I HAVE. I would be very happy with that 120. Personally, I'd stick with the 120 if it's not much faster than the 160.

Install on the new one, sell me the 120gb cheap, and I'll send you an 8Gb drive for Linux. 😀

well, i just started installing Windoze on the 160 giger. also have the 120 giger in there for when i transfer files accross. hopefully multiple installs of OS's wont screw me up.

i'm posting from my secondary rig, which, thankfully, still works 😛

behind my desk is a mess of cables right now, because for quick access to the dell after i finish installing the new hard drive, i have to take the old one out. (after deleting everything off it and reformatting it with FAT32. (actually i havent decided yet what to use. win2k (free from school?), win98(free, well, have 3 copies just sitting out... or XP (also free from school).

I don't believe you actually have a 160GB drive. You're just pretending you do for the attention.

picked it up from FRYS when they were having em for the 119 - 40 deal. 😀

actually, i lied. i'm formatting the 160 gigger. 20% now. 🙂 then comes installation, then comes transfer of old files, then comes optimization. 🙂

should i use a milestone build or one of the nightly builds of firebird?

and how should i store the 120 gig hdd till i have something to stick it in?
