Should I Not Use Easy CD Creator 5 / DirectCD???

It seems that a lot of people are having problems with this software both under Win 98 and 2000. I just bought a new TEAC 16x10x40 drive which came with Easy CD Creator 5 / DirectCD, but I haven't installed the drive or software yet.

Is Easy CD Creator 5 & DirectCD that bad? Does anyone actually like this software and not having problems with it?

I've never had problems with Easy CD Creator. I don't use directCD much, and don't install it until I need it. But Adaptec/Roxio has never given me problems. I have a HP 8x4x32, and run Windows 2000 advanced server. I've also used it on 98se a lot.

i have the plextor 16x and i'm not able use DIRECTCD on win98se. easy cd creator is fine.
