And just build a brand new house for like 30k that's bigger than the one we have now?

Really laid back town, but jobs are mostly in the blue-collar service area.

Would be kinda hard to find a white-collar job in the middle of nowhere.
 
Yea, it's rather rural, so it's all laid back, but the job market down there is really worrying me. Maybe rent a place out for a few months and see what happens before making a lifelong decision.

Here, I live with my parents in a house that's completely paid for.

There, I could find a house for like 20k.
