Should I make a new resume?

The Job i'm applying for makes you fill out a very complete application (everything that would be on a current resume is on thier and then some) should I still type up a new one or would the application be sufficient enough? I still plan on typing up a cover letter as usual but the closing date is tommrow (just found out about the job toda 🙁 ) and I don't think I have time to get my resume udpated since I'll be starting from scatch.
 
Yes, you should have your resume up-to-date regardless of whether the job requires an application.
