Well, I'm stationed at Ft. Campbell which is on the border of both states. I've heard that theres different tax pluses or minuses to living in one or the other. I guess one state doesn't have sales tax and makes up for it in higher property tax or something? Anyways... any input?

ky has relatively low property taxes, high auto insurance (no fault state), louisville and lexington are the only glimmers of civilization.

But we do have the best basketball in the US. ;)

TN = no state income tax, higher gas taxes

KY = lots of grassy fields

That's about all I know. My 2 cents

Clarksville, TN isn't too bad and it's close enough to Ft. Campbell (and close to Nashville). On the KY side, you'd have to go to Owensboro or Bowling Green to find decent civilization.

Your taxes would be based on your state of residence.
Are you changing it?
I kept my home state (Indiana) when I was in the navy (California)

That's like saying, "Do I want to smell someone's taint or two-hole?" It's kinda hard to choose one with conviction.

I wouldn't touch most KY girls with a 10 foot pole. But I've seen some beauties from TN!

Say what??

You should spend time around there, then. Esp. in the summer (come to Churchill Downs during Derby Week). Sure, we have a lot of fatass redneck chicks but the babes are plentiful here!

Don't forget, Ashley Juggs is from KY. ;)

You have got to be kidding???

Why do they keep TN cheerleaders off the field at halftime?
Officials are afraid they'd graze.

Hmmm, Ashley Judd is from the Valley and so is Jennifer Garner (Charleston, WV -albeit the southernmost point)

There are rumors in the air that TN may soon be getting an income tax. I sure hope not.

The easiest way to decide which state in which to live is to count your teeth. If you have more than 10 teeth, live in Tennessee, otherwise Kentucky.

Still of minor status.

Even if she were an adult, you'd have to make it past the fortifications.

both about the same.

people are nice, cheap land...any costs with eventually be balanced out. Just depends on what you prefer :)

Being from Kentucky, I would choose Kentucky...but I have been looking at Nashville lately.
