Should I keep waiting or take action?

Ok, I ordered butane from a certain online store that will remain un-named but it is deffinitely not *(hint)*Elighters.com*(hint)*. The order was placed Aug. 29 and as far as I know it was shipped the next day via ground USPS. I have yet to recieve said butane even though my card was charged on the 30th of August. I have contacted them atleast 3 times asking why its taking so long and if they have atracking number. They said because it was blah blah blah it doesn't have a tracking number and that because it is flamable it may take a little longer. It was shipped a little less than 620 miles away and I really don't think it should be taking this long to arrive. What should I do?

Well, the "blah blah blah" is probably important.

Depending on the quantity you purchased, I can certainly imagine that none of the regular carriers would agree to ship it. They might have to contract with a trucking company, for instance.

Although they should be able to find out where your shipment is, no matter who they contracted with to deliver it.

"Dear Customer,
As it is Butane and a commodity item, we cannot get
a tracking # for the Butane shipped by surface mail.

Thanks,
elighters.com"

"Brian,
The package shipped is labeled ORMD (hazardous
material). It goes by special delivery vehicle and
takes longer than other packages.
Thanks for your patience.

Gaurang"

This is what I got. As far as I know each can is small.
