Should I keep this OCZ mem?

I bought the OCZ "PC3000" memory to give it a try. I had heard both bad and good things about the brand, so i figured what the heck, il judge for myself ;)

Anyway, I think they use Nanya chips, which aren't the greatest :Q I haven't actually tried to see if the sticks will make the 183mhz, like they are supposedly able to, but I may in a few days. From what ive noticed, these chips aren't very stable. I had to use all of the slow memory timings with them, cl2.5, and then 3-6-3 for the other memory timings.

I'm running an Abit KR7A-Raid right now. I love the board, and my new XP 1800+ which reaches well over 1.7ghz :) Haven't tested to see how far i can get it to go yet, im gonna wait til i unlock the multiplier.

Think the lower timings/latency is worth sending these mofos back and getting a couple sticks of something more reliable? Lemme know, trying to get opinions. I'll post the info on what mhz i get these sticks to do after i unlock my CPU. Peace

The holding back of the memory timing could be due to other factor & not necessary RAM alone.

However, I felt tht exchange it & gain something like Crucial, Kingmax (PC2400) will be sufficient. Those 2 brand is reknown for its stability during O/Cing. The Nanya chip is good but just tht u most likely will not reach 180 + FSB using std setup.
