Should I keep the x800 pro or sell it and get a 9800 pro considering my cpu?

I was wondering considering how cpu bottlenecked I am should I sell my x800 pro and grab a 9800 pro or 9700 pro and then upgrade to a athlon 64. i already have a motherboard (msi k8n neo2)?

specs:

Athlon xp 2700+ at stock
1gig pc2700 ram
a7n8x deluxe 2.00
x800 pro non vivo
120gb hard drive

no, wait till you can afford an A64 and you will be on par. No sense in losing money over the x800 pro since you never unleashed its potential anyhow

ah ok makes sense. just a little disapointed that the fps hasnt really changed from my 9800 pro
