I have just brought an Antec SLK 2650 BQE and it came with a 350Watt psu which I think is pretty good but I'm not too sure.

The specs are:
+5 35A
+12 21A
+3.3 28A

I was just wondering if I should keep this case/psu or return it. It costed me about $40 and I was wondering if I could get something better in this price range.

I was also wondering if this psu could potentially power a dual core cpu by AMD if say we just double the power requirements of the current Winchesters...

Good luck finding a CASE li.ke that for $0 much less a good power supply.

I would use it inyour current system and then Upgrade the PSU when you do your next big upgrade.

I have a 1080IIB that I love so i.n this las.t .upgrade I purchased a 550W antec and dropped it in. Works great.

Actually, there is a good chance that 350 watt Antec will power a dual core. My 300 wat Antec was powing Duvie's new Athlon64 939 pin AT 2.65 GHZ ! So unless it was paired with a 6800ultra and 5 drives, it might work just fine. I have a 939 3200+ @2.2 with a 6800GT that works just fine with a 380, and might work on that 350 also.
