Hi guys

I just bought an Asus G53. Nice machine, but it came bundled with a lot of software, and I suspect most of it is pure crap.

Should I keep any of this:

Lifeframe - software for the webcam. It doesn't seem too bad, but I might be wrong.
CinePlayer - does it do anything which VLC cannot?
Nuance PDF Reader - better than FoxIt?
SmartLogon Manager
Syncables Desktop SE
e-Driver
Asus Vibe Fun Center
Creative EAX Gadget
ControlDeck - Seems like a nice control center for light, performance, etc.
Splendid Utility - for controlling the display. A keeper, I think.

- gasp. Quite a mouthful. Opinions?

I don't know what any of those are, but I personally prefer a virgin install. I like the applications I use, and am fairly tuned in to new good programs that come out, so there aren't too many good programs I miss. In other words, I'd remove them all.

I have never seen any of that stuff that did not have nag-ware attached to it - trying to get you to upgrade to the ' not-free ' version ...

LifeFrame is useful - it has drivers for the built in webcam.

and - it works !

it can actually record video, and save it to a file.
