Why are you and so many others taking this guy seriously? He's been around all of 3-4 days and has done nothing but troll and post nonsense

At the very least he needs to have his Internet persona jump off a bridge

Meh, when someone posts about commiting suicide I'd rather err on the side of caution. :hmm:

How would you feel about what you posted if you found out he actually did it?

Probably not as bad as I should

Not like I told him to do it, just that its impossible to take him seriously based on every SINGLE one of his posts thus far

As long as you're not too proud to do any work that brings in a paycheck, you can always find something. Being willing to start low if necessary is an invaluable attribute.

I have a son who will be 24 in about 15 years...maybe that is clouding my judgement. :sneaky::D

People generally don't joke around about things like that though. Even if they are joking there might be some element of truth to what they're saying.

I'd like to take him seriously and say "hey man, things will get better" because thats what I would if I took him seriously. The problem is, he's only been here at most a week, and I've seen just about every one of his 100 odd posts thus far. He starts lots of threads and most of them are so trollish in nature, I'm surprised he hasn't already been on vacation - or at the very least, had a warning from the mods on one of his posts.

What makes someone think they can join a forum and spout nonsense in nonsense threads that they start, and then after a week confess their soul like they belong and everyone here is their new friend?

I don't know. Whatever, OP - just seek help. This is not a good place to get help of any emotional kind.

The problem is not the salary, but whether anyone will ever hire me. I am 24 and I haven't worked a single hour in my whole life. That's why I am contemplating suicide. Although I might sound like a retard, I am dead serious. The gov should euthanize homeless people.

Uni = time to get an unpaid internship and get some experience. Get your money's worth; go to the career counseling office.

So you want to commit suicide because you "assume" someone isn't going to hire you just because your sister can't get a job?

Makes sense.

You need help man, if you don't do it over this you're going to do it because of something else any way. You'll probably get a job and then still want to do it because the manager is "mean to you." Its going to always be something, pretty clear.

They should legalize euthanasia. Euthanizing people is less cruel than letting them rot on the street.

Euthanasia is for people who will die soon anyway and the rest of their lives will be nothing but debilitating pain, not for folks like you to run away from hard times. Life gets hard, but realize that you can and will get through this. Spend some time thinking about where you want to be in life an come up with a concrete plans to get you there.

Seek help. Are you in school? Most universities have mental health services available at little or no cost. Sometimes just having a neutral party (NOT ATOT) to discuss things with puts stuff in perspective.

If so, please choose a nice tall one.

CRIPES what a tool OP is.
Actually change that. A tool in the right hands is useful.
