Should I install Windows Media Player 11 or keep 9?

I'm finishing up a reformat & fresh Windows installation (XP Pro SP3) on a friend's computer. I've been using WMP 9 on my own computers for awhile and never got around to installing 10 or 11.

I haven't researched the subject until now either, so I'm wondering if I should install WMP 11 or keep it at 9 like it is now? Are there important security features (or patches) in WMP 11 that make it a 'must'? Or are the additions just cosmetic and/or bells & whistles? And is 11 bloated, thus making it better to stick with 9 or 10?

I have Media Player 10 on my pc. Seems ok, but I think V11 starts getting bloated.

I tried 11, and then went back to 10. It was more efficient and better at handling MIDI files.

i'd go with 11. it works pretty well and probably will have the most security patches for it...

IMO, WMP11 is worlds better than 10 and galaxies better than 9 in terms of the media library and performance for searching.
