Sprained my wrist in the gym yesterday and I'm now icing it with a corn and peas bag..but should I be icing the palm side or the back of the hand side of my wrist? Or should I switch off?

If it's a sprain you shouldn't be icing it, you should be putting a heating pad on it.

Soak it in warm water with a bunch of Epsom salt mixed in. (get this at a drug store... a whole bucket for like, $3)

Ice:
For the first 48 hours post-injury, ice the sprained wrist 20 minutes at a time every 3-4 hours.

Place an ice pack on the wrist as soon after the injury as possible - or better yet, an ice bandage, which can help immobilize the area. Wrap from the hand to the elbow, but be careful not to wrap so tight that it cuts off circulation.

Yeah, but if it's not swollen then you don't really need ice.

Heat helps it heal faster.
