Should I Hold My Mobile To My Head When Dialing Out?

I heard that a mobile phone generates most electromagnetic radiation when it is establishing a connection with the network for your call. That being the case it was suggested that if someone was worried about excessive exposure to emr then one should not hold the mobile to one's ear until the connection is established. I performed a quick and simple test and held my mobile to my crt computer monitor. Whilst dialing it made the screen image vibrate but this ceased once the call had connected. Should I be concerned?

well its not proven whether its harmful or not. studies point in both directions, so better safe than sorry. keep it away from ur head.
