Should I have bought the 4gb version?

I recently bought a Zotac GTX 680 2GB. I could have gotten the EVGA 4GB version for $60 more. I only run 1 screen at 1080p and no plans to go higher than 1080p or multiscreen. Even if I did buy the 4GB version I still would plan on upgrading to the GK110 or whatever the next high-end GTX card is maybe a few months after it's out and selling my GTX 680. I also have no plans to SLI. Should I have bought the 4GB version?

Absolutely no reason for more than 2GB at 1080 there might be one game out there, with HD texture mods, that pushes that much VRAM, maybe not even. Now someone MIGHT be able to show you >2GB VRAM usage at 1080, but that is memory used, not memory needed. Remember that difference.

Not if you plan on upgrading to the real Kepler card. 2gb will be fine until then. If you wanted to keep the 680 for over a year, then i'd be concerned.

Mine's a 550wt one and it has 2pci-e connectors..and the psu is good because the card ran well for 8 months ....great fps in games too....even the card that I got in replacement ran well for a few hours ..
.using the same psu...
