I plan to buy an Epox Epox 8RDA+ some Crucial PC2700 memory and Revision B xp2100+.

I'd like to OC this puppy to around 180fsb, but keep the memory and cpu in sync. I've been reading tons of threads on this and it seems the XP2100+ can get to these speeds right? Also the DDR333 memory should be able to overclock from 166 to 180 I hope since its Crucial and not Corsair (Can't afford Corsair)

So I'd like to hit at least 2ghz cpu with 180 or so FSB on both memory and CPU. I'm a n00b to OC'ing but very computer savy and not afraid of the BIOS. Can these components do it?

Thanks guys

Yes, they will do it. For memory, I would recommend some Kingston HyperX from ExcaliberPC.com. Their pc3000 is cheap and very very good. Plus its rated for the fsb you are shooting for. And get a T-bred B with a AIUHB stepping. Get an oem cpu and some good cooling.

price?

probably slk800 (but its one heavy mofo...and tricky to intsall maybe...) with any 80mm fan...maybe adjustable one so you can adjust when/if necessary

or if you want bolt on, swiftech mcx462 or alpha pal8045
both good ones

i got slk800 cuz its a PITA to bolt on and off each time you change cpu or whtaever...lol
you could always superglue to board, but that would mean trouble when you change boards....

Price...humm.

don't know much about these things, but since I'm OC'ing i figure it will need to be cool. My case will probably have 2 120mm fans.

$40 or less i guess. I hear panaflow fans are nice and quiet.
