I play BF4 at 2560x1440 with everything set to High no differed AA but high Post AA. I use adaptive v sync and I get usually 55-60 fps on most maps. But their are times are certain maps like the new china raising maps with lots of jungle its gets really choppy at times which annoys me. I was thinking about selling my 770 2gb for around $280 and picking up a gtx 780. Would a 780 solve those choppiness problems or am I just blowing smoke thinking a 780 will fix that....

OP I'd get the Lightning or Classfied 780 if the 290's still have the inflated mining price.

The SC 780 dual fan is $500 shipped now. The Classified is about $580 shipped. Is the classified worth the extra $100 or so?

No.
It is not worth the extra $100.

Also I think the Msi Gaming 780 is $469 on Newegg right noe after rebate.

Both those cards are inflated in themselves. Basically 20-25% more expensive for the same GPU. Doesnt make any sense to justify one inflated card over another.

Lightning is 10% more expensive, it may or may not be 10% quicker than a SC but it certainly has 10% better quality components.

OP, I wouldn't stick a dime in BF4 gameplay until they fix the game itself.

Are you on Windows 7 with HT enabled?

Op, the GTX 780 is a card you want clocked to the ceiling to justify its purchase from a 7950,7970/ GTX670/680,GTX770, etc. I don't know about anyone else but when I'm running a highly clocked card I like quality.
