Should I grow a beard?

Do you just let it all grow out or do you shave some parts of it? I was thinking of shaving the cheek area and the lower neck to make it look nice. Then trim the rest as it keeps growing.

Unless you are a mountain man or a hippie, that's how you would do it.

If you can get a full beard go for it. If you're patchy, then don't. My brother has three hairs in his "beard" mwahahaha

i just got out of the military 6 weeks ago and the first hting i did was stop shaving LOL. However i think i do the same as you i use clippers to trim them to a #2 which is the same length as my sideburns and around my head. then i use a razor and electric for right under the cheeks and a good almsot inch is clean taken off at the bottom of my throat then i use a #1 clip with the trimemr head extended to blend another half aaaand inch of the new starting hairline at the throat.
ppl like it over the full bushy look it seems
