I'm going to be gettin the Dixiesys two for one sale for my webhosting
and it seems that the majority of the users here use Godaddy for domain name registration.
There is a domain name that expires Oct 7th that someone has registered but is no longer active with any webhostings. I'd like to snatch it right on the date it expires so it won't be taken by anyone else between 7th - 15th. This will be my first domain/webhosting purchase so i'm a newbie. Should i just go with Godaddy and then get my webhosting on oct 15th with Dixiesys? or should i get them both from Dixiesys? what are the advantages/disadvantages (if any) of getting both the domain and webhosting from the same company?
