Should I go to UC Irvine for EE grad school?

Well if you look at rankings and reputations (as well as I think you should but not as the sole factor)...

"The Henry Samueli School of Engineering ranked 47 in a tie with Brown University and University of Massachusetts-Amherst. The school last appeared in the top 50 in 1999 when it ranked 48. The ranking is based on a 2002 survey of 185 engineering schools with doctoral programs."

Please note the school is ricer Asians. The area as a whole is rich, white people. Weather is great. Traffic is horrible.

I just checked you're from Berkeley. Lets just say its opposite of Berkeley in every way, good and bad. :D If you loved Berkeley, you'll probably hate it here. If you hated Berkeley, you'll love it here.

Relative to traffic in and out of LA, traffic in Irvine is a walk in the park...

<--graduated from Irvine in '99...lived off and on in LA.

and remember, u knw all UC's are pretty good @ engineering....so if it's the only school u got into...then yeah go for it dude...it has a crapload of companies around the school...irvine is like silicon valley jr...c'mon ur graduating now, so you should know that

well, that is if he got in UCB's EE grad school...and if he did, i'll bow down to him and lick the floor he walks on...it's pretty tough to get into UCB's EE grad or any eng. grad @ UCB
