Should I go to the SF Chinese New Year Festivities on Saturday?

I'll keep it short and sweet, I work in SanFrancisco and am not sure whether or not I should go to the festivities after work. I'm worried it will end up as either A. Crowded beyond enjoyment B. Ho-hum nothing to wait and stand around for unless I'm really into it C. A bunch of people, aka Chinese folks, who can enjoy the holiday but stupid white folks like myself will be exposed as the shallow prying tourist morons who have nothing better to do on a Saturday night.

No. I saw the parade a few times back in the sixties and seventies and I don't want to see them again.

But I must admit that it was fun selling firecrackers to the American tourist and ripping them off like crazy.

Yes, sir, the check is in the mail."
