Should I go SLI or get a better card???

I currently have a Gigabyte GV-NX76G256D-RH Silent Pipe card. I wasthinking of either getting another one from newegg for $100 and ding an SLI setup, or just selling this card, adding a little more cash and getting a more powerful single card.

is it worth going through the trouble of selling the card I have now and buying a more expensive card, or should I just buy an identical card, throw it in and call it a night?

Passively cooled SLI has a tendency to overheat the system as too much heat is being dumped into the case with two cards.

Get a new card.

Why you guys say that? 7600GS sli hangs with 7900GT and vmod and overclock it will trounce it.

BTW you can do SLI 7600GS for $140 now with cards like this

Seems like a no brainer 7900GT performance or $140? Thats $100 off. with all these negatives what am I missing here?
