My left eye "hurts"...or not actually my eye(like pupil and iris cuz i doubt i wouldnt be able to see)...its either the bone,musscle or tissue surrounding it. It's like I have bruise there but you cant physically see it...but if you touch the right spot it hurts mine eys same with closing it...but when i blink i barely feel it...i havent really done anything to cure it except today when I started using ice there to see if that works....and no I didnt hit my eye on anything lately.Could it be some kind of internal bruising or what?...help?...i'm thinking about going to my family doctor...anyone with reasonable medical intelligence?
 
Unscrew it, let it soak in water overnite and put it back in the socket in the mornin'. It should be fine by tomorrow. It's just a little dry.
 
Ya might as well. One of my friend's 14 yeear old brothers got something under is contac and scratched his cornea, and it got infected, and now he is blind in one eye. That happened this month. That's not the same as your situation, just saying your etes are not something you wanna take a chance with.

um...no. that is way too long for something like that to go unattended.

i think OP should make an appt to see his doc asap.

could be a herpetic lesion of the eye. :Q

 
It's probably a fecalmyocardial infection. Docs will just give you some drops. Save yourself some big money and just put a few drops of 50% bleach solution in the effected eye.
 
It could be an eyelash got in there and irritated your eye. It could be a pimple on the inside of your eyelid. It could be a bug bite on your eyelid. It could be an irritated hair folicle. Or, it could be something worse.

How long has it been bothering you?

I've had eye irritation before and it always went away after a few days.

Well, if it makes you feel better, go see a doctor. I don't want you to injure your health because of anything I write.

I had a bug bite on my eyelid back in 2002. At least that's what I think it was. It swelled up so I couldn't fully open my eyelid for about four or five days. Took a week before it finally cleared up.

I've also had eyelashes get in my eye and roll to the sides/behind. The irritation makes my eye hurt, sometimes for days.

So, I just ignore it unless i notice any vision problems or worse symptoms.

Again though, if you are worried, go see a doctor.

Is this a joke? Why are you telling people they have a poop/heart muscle infection in their eye, and to put bleach in them? That's not smart.
 
first rinse your eye out with water for fifteen minutes, then look for foreign objects under your eyelid. If it still hurts after that, then go see a doctor.
