Last summer I wanted to go nocternal completely so I'd sleep when the sun is o ut and wake up when its gone. I never got around to try it....

The thought came back to me recently. I don't think it'll be very hard since when my family and I go to India or England, it only takes a day or two to adjust to. If I do it, I think I'll stay up 6 hours more than usual one night, wake up after 4 hours, and then try to pull it off completely the next time. Whadya think?

Anyone else tried this? And if you're wondering... I am a 15 year old with nothing to do since all of my friends at biking distance or neighborhood ones are on vacation right when I got back... *sigh*

The sun, believe it not, gives off vital nutrients so that all life can survive . . .. But then again, what kind of self-respecting ATOT nerd (that'd be you [and me, I'm not above that;)]) can let himself go not looking all pasty white?

I don't plan on doing it for a very long time, maybe a week and then back to normal once my friends are back. Also, I'm from India so I have the darker skin so I'll look pasty brown?

Just wait till your finals in college roll around. I saw more sunrises than sunsets for 2 weeks. Its actually really easy to become nocturnal... just start increasing your bedtime from 1 to 2 to 3 to 4 to 5, sleep excessively, and 2-3 days later you're nocturnal. If you want to get off it, all you have to do is suffer through one day, and fall asleep at 7pm or so, wake up normally the next day.

Lol you'll have plenty of time to ruin your sleeping habits in college. Take up a new sport instead.

Actually, starting tomorrow I want to sleep early and wake up early so I can learn more Java, work on some math work from a Math class I take in the summers to get ahead, and read the honors chemistry book for next year which usually makes my workload lighter for the year since I know most of the things.

Pasty brown . . . you don't want to be the color often describing diahrrea . . .. I agree. Take up a sport, martial arts, music, art, or something.

I've done it for a week. Seems kinda fun, but you'll start feeling like crap and have no energy. Take up a sport, or go to the gym and get fit. Going nocturnal will most likely make you fat and crazy.

Switching schedules like that is hell on your body. Trust me, I know from personal experience.

I have plenty of sports when friends are in town or the weather is nice... Biking (my favorite), basketball, swimming, soccer (also a favorite, right with Biking), and anything else people are playing.

I'm taking up Java starting tomorrow as well as studying some, atleast for now. Hopefully I can do like an hour of studying, an hour of Java, and an hour of math each day in the mornings before a few of my friends get h ome from summer school so I still have time to go outside with them...

I naturally get to doing that. Last summer I always slept around 8-9am and woke up around 4pm. Wasn't very fun, but wasn't too bad either.
