Well, I ordered a biostar m7ncd motherboard. When I ordered it I didn't know the voltages were locked. That's a bummer. I'm trying to get newegg to switch mobo's for me but I doubt that will happen as I used a moneyorder to pay. IF I get that motherboard shipped to me I was thinking about maybe just going for the gold and setting the fsb up to 200mhz and trying it out. I really doubt that could run stable, but I was thinking MAYBE it could. I'll be using a mobile athlon xp 2400+ and 512mb stick of Buffalo pc3200. If not I'm either stuck with returning it or upgrading my parents comp a little early and still waiting to get another mobo shipped to me. Actually now that I think about it I propably definately won't be able to hit 200fsb at 1.45volts...poo

Anyways, if any of you own this motherboard...I'd like to know if the fsb can be increased in small increments. So far i've been led to believe it goes up at 133/166/200. If it can be nudged up I could live with that until my parents are ready to upgrade the motherboard and processor. It sucks when you try and save too much money, lol.

Yes you can adjust the fsb in 1mhz incrementsin expert mode. My experience with it using a 2500+ is that it gets to about 184 before it needs a voltage kick for the cpu. At least that is as far as i have gotten it with my kids machine. He has a buddy with the same board using a 2500+ and his results weren't even that good. Just wondering how the multi thing in the mobile athlons will get along with that board. Newegg at the very least should exchange it minus a restocking charge so you could go that route.
