Should I get wireless-B or wireless-G for my modded Xbox?

Just the facts, ma'am:

My internet: 3MBs down, 768k up
wireless B: 11MBs ($49)
wireless G: 54MBs ($73)

Considering that a wireless B adapter is still almost 4 times the speed of my internet access, would it be sufficient for xbox live and streaming video/files between my wireless router and xbox? Or should I cough up $24 more for the G?
