I can't tell you about the 915N but I bought the Samsung 730B on Saturday for $350.00 Canadian (about $285.00 US). I would think its 19" counterpart (930B) would be about
as good, only bigger.

I really like the 730B - the text is clear and the colours are excellent. The viewing angles are not great thoiugh. Basically,
you have to be right in front of the monitor - and don't slouch, or move your head to the side. Move a couple of inches
to the right, and the left side of the screen looks yellowish - same for the other side. But that's what you get with LCD's
these days.

For gaming, the monitor is as good as a CRT - no ghosting or anything which is terrific.

I have two 915n's and a 2005fpw. In all honesty I prefer the the 915n's for gaming and even went so far as to swap out the dell for a 915n for the main system. Probably going to sell the Dell monitor and just get another Samsung LCD, preferably one with DVI output but in all reality I don't care either way. They are really excellent panels, the only downside is the lack of DVI.

The Samsung 930B and 730B have DVI capability - they just don't come with the cables.
Does DVI make any difference on panels linke the Samsungs? I'm not sure - I've only used
the Analog until now. Even if there is just a little difference,
it is probably worth the $30.00 for a cable.

A good Analog connection can look as good as DVI; but it is easier to get a good picture out of a digital display when using a digital connection as there is a lot less room for error.

By easier, do you mean that with DVI you have to play with it less to get a good picture?
I found with my Samsung, I have to play around with the colour and sharpness, etc.
to get a good picture - takes a lot of tinkering, but the result looks good.
