I finnaly solf my mp3 player, and found a killer deal for the u2 ipod + black itrip for $369 plus $20 shipping... but im not sure if I want the U2 ipod or not..... Like, I know if I got a normal ipod Id get a black case for it.... do you think i could sell that $50 gift certificate for like $20 or somethign online>? Im just not sure I want the u2 one or not.
 
I would think the black would show scratches horribly bad. It would look like crap in a few months even with careful care.

heh..I jsut caught myself realizing that Gurck would use these words against me to describe the regualr ipod itself and realized that it would make for some fun so I left it as is....

That's because you're a teenager. If you want it "b-cuz ur frendz0rz inn teh HS wil luv it", then.. *shrug* maybe go for it, at least you'd be being honest about it and I remember how important that was for most of my peers back then. If you want a player which costs less, does more and sounds better, there are far better choices depending on your priorities.
 
the U2 ipod looks ugly to me...but if you are a U2 fan, the ~450 tracks seem enticing.

edit: i have a zen touch ($225) and love it.
