Right now I have the DFI in my signature. I have a bad PS/2 port and need to RMA it. I am having a problem with dual channel memory. I am using OCZ Performance Series 3200 ram. The ram will work but not in dual channel form. It's just that the DFI's seem like high performance cars, they need the right, expensive parts and a good mechanic(the User) to get the best out of them.
I am wondering should I take this opportunity to move to another board. I do want to OC as much as possible, but I am a relative newcomer and the DFI's settings make me dizzy. Is the Asus A8N just as good an OC board, without the finicky nature of the DFI's ? I don't really plan to go SLI, but I do want as mant features on my board as possble. If ASUS isn't as good an OC'er then, how good is the UT NF4 UT SLI D ?
