I will use them mostly for listening to music and playing counterstrike.

Right now I have the Creative Inspire 5.1s from about 3 years ago

Sound pretty good but dont have a very strong subwoofer they were 100 when i got tem


Any speaker system reccomendations that are about 100 or less that are better than what i have now? 5.1 preferable but if you know of 2.1s that sound really good tell me those too...

eCost has the Klipsch Promedia 4.1 (refurbed) for $119 + $6 processing. I saw the deal over at this site's Hot Deals forum, and most people who ordered it seem to be satisfied. It's over your price point but worth it IMO
