Is changing CPU from a X6 1045T to a i3 3220 worth it for extremely intensive CPU games?
No i dont overclock, I have a weak psu. Also what what about a switch to a i5 3350P.
Omega 750W 33A on the +12V rail :S Also I cant afford the K cpu's
As a upcoming pilot, i use FSX (Flight Simulator X) which is extremely CPU based. I use a 1680X1050 resolution
I also play Fifa 13 which runs great maxed however FSX is poor (with addons in it)
Saphirre Radeon 7770 OC edition
Ok thanks alot, though let me ask, will there be a huge difference between the 3350p and the i3? Because I still need to get a intel mobo
Based on my knowledge i hear FSX doesnt use more than four lol. As a matter of fact I think people run the i5's on 3 cores for a higher overclock, but after all what do I know XD.
I have a crappy ASROCK N68C-S UCC 95W that is AM2+ though I have a AM3 CPU

wait, who in their right minds would recommend someone to upgrade from an amd hexcore to intel dual core?

I ran FSX and those were the results. My budget is a low as possible for good performance and im looking at 250 for the CPU and motherboard. Also it is well know in the FS community that intel is much better than AMD for FSX.
I am seeing 4 cores being fully used and the other two not so much. Do you live next to a Microcenter?
I live in the Caribbean lol! And yes I saw micocenter is selling the 3570K for $189
Shipping is quite expensive. To ship the 1045T down here cost $200TTD or 30US, My 8GB G.Skill cost 150TTD or 23US and the 7770 cost $79 TTD or 13US. Thanks alot for the links, I think ill go with the 3350p and ASROCK combo, since I already have one lol
