I always thought it would be cool. What are your thoughts? Is it easy? Is it worth the $50*75 for the right to fly? Anyway to get it cheaper or paid for somehow?

Is it good for life if you maintain your flight status? How does it work?

He's think 50 dollars times 75 hours. 40 hours is required, but more than likely it'd take more like 50-55 hours. So it'd probably be actually flopped 75 dollars times 50 hours. and 75 dollars is pretty cheap for an hour rental. he failed to include the instructor fees too. tack on around another 20 dollars an hour.
a private pilot license doesn't expire. you have to have a medical certificate to fly, but other than that all you need is a flight review with an instructor every 2 years. to carry passengers you need to do 3 landings in the previous 3 months.
