No DSL for me, Lines are copper and im at 19000 feet, no IDSL either, Cable not till 2003 🙁. whats my other choice? DirectPC it will soon be 2way, can anyone give me more info on it? I heard it will be 2way but havent found any info and a good place to get the hardware? its 250$ at best buy.
 
I'd hold off for like a month or two... check out www.gilat2home.com

Gilat will soon be offering 2-way satellite service (via MSN/Radio Shack), with rumored speeds of 1 meg down/200k up. Quite a bit faster than the current DirecPC offerings.
 
i read the gilat thing from radio shack can only be purchased with a computer. and Im sick of waiting! after spending the last 5-6 with about 3 DSL providers.
