my TV died recently and I am thinking of finally going high def. I currently use my main PC as an HTPC with sagetv.
graphics card is a radeon 9600 non-pro

I am leaning towards the olevia 232v for about $600.

It gets great reviews for the cost. my budget is about $500-600

My main thought is will I be happy using it as a monitor running at 1360x768?
will webpages and documents look screwed up at this resolution??

I'm thinking the TV with a tuner is a better route than me spending money upgrading my PC to handle hi-def capture and playback.

thanks!

Im sure it'll work great for you. What res did you run before, 1024x768?
Webpages dont care what res you run. Sure they can be optimized for certain resolutions, but in the end, you still see the information.

I haven't seen any issue with fonts. I used my HDTV from Olevia and didn't have a problem with it at all. Same resolutions. However, I moved to a 28" monitor and can notice a huge difference in games due to faster refresh rates.
