Pros of IPOD: cool, holds lots of songs
CONS: sound quality (since I will be using the radio wave thingie), possible theft

Pros of CD changer: blends in with the car, sound quality.
cons: can only hold 6 cd, and have to open trunk to change cds.

cd changers stink, I have one, if you get tired of the same cd's you have to stop and change the cartridge (mine's in the trunk).

My bro got me an ipod and I havn't used my cd changer since, well once when my gf bought a new cd and wanted to listen to it.

The changer. Or get an mp3 deck for the car.

The ipod has a better chance of getting stolen or lost.

my Accord came with a six cd in dash changer then I have my mp3 discman hooked up through the cassette player. When 20 gig players get cheaper though, I'll get one for the car. That would be very nice.

I bought a sony 10 disc changer off of ebay for $100, I have a sony head unit so it matched right up. It's nice, probably 8 of the 10 cd's in the changer have never left since I bought it last march (and that was with a summer driving four hours nearly every weekend). It's in the center console of my truck, so I can change CDs very easily, although I did debate getting another cartridge for it so I could swap in another 10 CDs while driving, but I decided I didn't have enough music to make it worthwhile.

I looked at getting an ipod, but I figured the $100 investment was a better deal for me, because I'd only use the ipod in the car. Plus I don't have to worry about taking it out of the truck every time I park it.
