Should I get a Samsung 700NF or a 757MB?

700NF
757MB

The specifications seem almost identical. I guess it's up to me if I want to spend ~$20 more to get the apeture grill of the 700NF.

Does anyone here have the 757MB? If so, how do you like it? Any reliability problems?

Well, based on my experience with my 900NF, I'd definitely suggest the 700NF over the 757MB, which I assume to be nearly identical to the 700IFT due to better black-level and color quality. Otherwise, they're pretty even.

Yeah, I'm thinking 700NF too. I'd like to keep using my Sony G400 19" Trinitron but the electron gun or something is weak and the screen starts to get distorted at strenuous resolutions and refresh rates. :( Thus I plan on selling it to my parents so they can run 1024x768 on it. :disgust::)

I would also go with the 700NF,besides you only have one pair of eyes and they`re more important then any amount of ram ;).

depends on what type you want. aperture's tends to have more vibrant graphics, while shadow masks have sharper images. if you read a lot of text, use shadow mask, if graphics more important, get aperture.

I have used shadow mask before and i really dislike them. I would either get an apeture grill monitor (700nf) or just get a nice lcd. IMO You will be much happier with the 700nf over the 757mb.

I'd love to get a LCD, but a good 17" LCD is still so expensive. Thus it's a 700NF for me. :) Thanks for the help guys!
