Should I get a ps2?

Should I purchase a ps2 when the only games I want to play on it are Guitar Hero and Grand Turismo 4? My gf wants to play some games on it too.

Also, should I just get an old refurb one or one of those new slim design ones? Is there any advantage to the new slim design ones?

I can't believe how small the slim PS2 is! It's not a lot bigger than a DVD case. (maybe twice as thick)

Guitar Hero 2 is coming to 360. GT is my least favorite racing series that I have played (Xbox always seemed to have the winners there, imo), so no further comment on that.

IIRC, Sony peeps said that the price of the PS2 is not going to drop this winter. Which sucks, because mine died a few months ago and I'd like to play FF12 (I don't see myself buying more than a 360+Wii for quite some time, so a PS3 is out).
