Should I get a Nextel Blackberry?

I like the new ones, and I really need one so I can get my emails when I'm not in the office. But a buddy tells me that Blackberry is going under because of the lawsuits and I'll be wasting my money. What's the dealio?
 
Law suit was just settled

I had a Tmobile 7100t and I liked it But then I had a chance to get a hp 6315 and I love it.

If all you want to do is get your email and your email is a pop3 email you should be fine
 
Do you have to get a nextel blackberry? If not consider T-Mobile or Cingular. They are cheaper for their data service. We primarily use T-Mobile's blackberry's in my office and it works great.
