No. You truly won't have a need for it. I can sit back far from the TV and still play and if I wanted extra reach I could get a long extension cable. You don't need this.

Have you tried a wireless controller for any of the consoles thoguh? I got a chance to try the wavebird last night and it is a pretty damn nice little controller.

I have the Wavebird for my GC and a Pelican wireless controller for my Xbox. Both are very nice, and I really like them. But I haven't tried the Logitech yet.

The downside to a wireless Xbox controller is using the Live headset. There's no place on the controller to plug it in.

By the way... Here's a review of the Logitech. They seem to like it a lot, except for the price.

Hmm, thats kinda lame, but understandable. I will probably stick to the wired controllers until microsoft releases a wireless controller.

For the $70 they want for that controller, my answer is "Absolutely not". If you could get the controller for the price of a wavebird ($30-$35) then I would say yes. I've got Wavebirds for my Cube, and I love them. When you get used to playing with a wireless controller, it is tough to go back to anything else.
