I'm not familiar with this boar and MSI's site seems down. :|
Most people seem to like it, but is this the newest incarnation or is it less than the K*133A?
equal?
more?

I have one and so far (2.5 weeks now) hasn't been giving me any problems. It uses the AMD 761 for it's Northbridge and the VIA 686B(4.31s are a must)for the Southbridge. All cpu settings, including multiplier adjustments, are in BIOS, but if you are a bus overclocker you may want to look at another mobo. It does have fsb adjustments, but they are limited to 4 or 5 settings above 133(I don't recall the exact amount or what mhz they are). If you want an AMD based mobo though, it is one of the few that has multi adjustments(I believe Epox has one as well).

If you are into SCSI, the Master does come in an onboard SCSI variant as well.

Its a decent board.. extremly stable, but can only go up to 150mhz fsb.. But if I were you I would wait for the KG7 or buy the 8K7A.

Thanks for the tips... someone has offered me one at a decent price and it's tempting.
I could get the brand new 266 incarnation, but is there any real benefit besides the higher clock/bus speeds?
I DID notice that the K7 Master only goes up to 1.2GHz.... :-/

I'm prettty sure it will go higher than 1.2Ghz.

I believe Patrick (PCResources) used K7 Master, 1.33Ghz Athlon as his main platform for quite a while.
