As I expected my local retailers are having trouble getting a Radeon distributor. I still have a few more to try and I am expecting their emails any time now.

If one of them can get a Radeon then I will get it. If they can't I'll have to get the MX because it would cost far to much for me to import a Radeon from the U.S.

The MX isn't a bad card but I would prefer to get a Radeon. If I can't I'll be a little bit disappointed.

Anyway, thanks for your replies guys.

One of the best threads is on the BBS covering
Radeon vs GF2, plus it includes an entry
with a link to 30 reviews along with 4 specific
reviews on 2D and 3D aspects of image quality. The Hyper-Z allows SDR to achieve nearer
DDR performance so that even GF2 comparisons are warranted, plus the computation accuracy of the 3D
engine results in more vibrant and lifelike colours.

Hm, I guess what I hope everyone realizes is that like someone else mentioned, the GTS has two more rendering pipelines than the MX and $50-$100 more depending on which MX your looking at. I think this level of performance for that kind of money is not even debatable. With the newest detonators it chews up radeons and spits out 3defects. Yeah if you take it out dollar for dollar it may not appear as the best deal but an MX and radeon do not have quite enough poly power for my gaming tastes. Your video card is one of the most important pieces to a gaming system and you should get the best for least without getting the newest card with the biggest premium. So there we have it, yesterdays champ, the Geforce GTS and the premium card GTS Ultra. And again if any of you dont understand what I'm saying, I'd be happy to sell my 32mb SDR 128bit path MX to you for $60 if you payed shipping.. its a month old. kinney82@yahoo.com is where you can contact me.
