Should i get a Geforce 3?

Right now i have a Geforce 264mb and was wondering if it was worth upgrading to a Geforce 3? or should i wait for Geforce 3 ultra (or new ATI PRODUCT). ? games run great (max payne i hvae to turn few settings down at 1024x768. no biggy.

just curious if its REALLY worth the upgrade. THANKS 😀

If you're happy with what you have then don't bother upgrading until you can't play the games you want anymore.

Nope, a GTS 2 64 is really fast nuff for all your current needs.....Geforce 3 as shown in a few reviews performs at the same level as a geforce2 ultra.....
If U were u wait abit longer and save your money....
I currently use a V8200 on a AMD 1.3GHz , and its fast, very fast, faster than what I thought it was going to be. the main reason why I brought it over the Gefroce Ultra was that it was a superior archintecture in the long run...but the Geforce 2 is by not mean obsolete...
However, the main reason why I changed to a GEforce 3 from a ATI Radeon 32mb DDR was the Radeon dissapointing win 2K Perfomance....ATI was always weak in drivers...and it was especailly buggy in Operation Flashpoint....
I actully hope ATI fixes these issues with the R200(Radeon 2) coz I really don't want a Nvida only video Biz...its no good for everyone.

I came very close to upgrade to a GF3 (I have a 32MB GF2) because I thought it would be slow with Max Payne. Turns out I can play with everything maxed up at 1024x768x32, so I'm glad I decided to wait a little more. I'll probably upgrade in October/November when the new stuff comes out...

If you like to turn on 2XAA or 4XAA then yes.

The Geforce3 boards don't take the performance hits as bad as the Geforce2 boards did.
