Should I get a dedicated GPU?

I'm planning to get Intel i3-2120, which has HD 2000 Graphics.

Would I benefit if I get a dedicated card? (I'm talking generally, but one example being watching videos)

well
for browsing the net
watching videos
using the office
the intergrate will be fine
well some people complain about the frame rate bug
the cheapest ati card will have the best feautures for video decoding and playing
but if you do not see any problem with the igp
just play some video files i do not see the point to buy a card to paly videos

If budget is the issue, no you'll survive but don't think about serious gaming.

If you can swing it, there really is no reason why not.

Well if you're just browsing the Internet and watching videos there is one good reason to stick to onboard though: no extra fan making noise (well, the CPU has a fan anyhow). Course there are some low-end passive graphic cards too.

This does assume that your mobo can has DVI or HDMI for the Intel integrated since analog VGA is not nice.

You only need a dedicated card for gaming. Your integrated graphics has hardware decoding for pretty much every commonly used video codec, and anything it can't hardware decode that i3 can do on the CPU. (My 6 year old X2 5200+ can do 1080p h.264, and the i3 is twice as fast)
