...NV20 Geforce next generation chip? the price of the Asus V7700 is very pricey here in australia A$700 US$350 (roughly). what's your guess on the prices of the new and latest cards that are going to be released? US$400+???

PLEASE HELP I'M IN A HUGE DELEMA NOT KNOWING WHAT I SHOULD DO HERE AS I HATE WAITING AROUND FOR NEW PRODUCTS TO BE RELEASED. I'VE GOT THE ASUS V7700 ON HOLD SO I NEED AN ANSWER URGENTLY!

At some point you just have to step off the bus and buy something. That's the way it is.

Oh-Yes, get the Asus V7700Geforce2 64mb... you will not be disappointed. The Geforce2 is an Awesome card.

I have the first generation geforce and it screams. And as of right now I am in the market for the Geforce2. But this card is for high-end gamers (like me :))

So if your not into gaming that much I would recommend another card.

Just get the GeForce2GTS. No sense in waiting I say. As Ben said above, there's always going to be something better around the corner.

YES, with the NV20 and the various iterations of Radeon coming (Radeon MAXX, Radeon 2, etc.), G800, etc. If you're gonna spend your money (and you seem to want the best) I'd wait til Christmas and see what's out. Whichever card you get then will last much longer than a GTS.
