I currently have radeon 7500 and would like to upgrade. Should I wait till it drops even more?

my current specs are

Athlon 1700+ oc 2ghz
512 cosair xms 3200
epox 8kha2+ i believe....

No, don't bother with the 9500/9500 Pro. It has 8 pixel pipelines but is hampered by it's 128-bit memory interface. If you're an avid gamer go with the 256MB RADEON 9800 Pro or the 256MB GeForce FX 5900 Ultra. anything less and you'll be disappointed.:beer:

Get the 9500 and use the software hack to make it a 9800!

Using a simple Driver Hack (no bios mod, so won't violate your warrenty) Some cards (maybe half, not sure exact number) will mod to 9800! It activates all the pipelines (8) AND runs at 256bit memory. This will only work on a non-pro 9500.

9500 (non pro) =====> 9800 (approximately)

Simply Amazing.

And if it doesn't work for you, well you still have a nice 9500.
