should I flash, or update my bios?

i wanted to update my BIOS, and I am using asusupdate, I got 1010-X.bin ready, and now I have to click "Flash", i'm rather scared of this, I don't know what I should be worried about, and I can't find any floppy disks around (haven't checked in the attic, though). if the bios doesn't work right (betting it will, though) can I just get on another pc, get a floppy, download the old bios from asus, put it on the floppy, then boot it from there?

i updated mines with asus live update with no problem updated from 1010 to 1013 without a problem 🙂 this was on an ASUS A7N8X-E
